Back to basics in this new year, wearing my favorite go-to flats and a sweater I have put some heavy mileage on this season. First, the black suede flats – A long-time classic design from Roger Vivier, my feet thank me every time I wear them. I’ve already told you about my sweater in this post, how I spotted it at Barney’s this past December and fell in love with it on the spot. Anything this cozy has my name written all over it and the styling of this mohair cowl neck beauty checked every possible want on my wish list. Not only is it super soft and comfortable, I think it is the epitome of chic. Love that we found each other on an impromptu shopping trip. It probably helped that it was a blustery cold Chicago day, but I am certain I would have grabbed it even if it were not miserable outside. This is one that can be dressed up, as I wore it at my holiday party, or dressed down for a casual, chic look. Either way it has turned out to be the best investment I’ve made this season.
