I’d been wanting to try Honey’s for a while now, if only because it was my mother’s nickname, bestowed upon her shortly after she was born. That bit of nostalgia had to bode well for the place, right? It doesn’t always work that way but this time it did. The hip Chicago eatery located in the city’s West Loop turned out to be a real treat. From the modern dining room all dressed in rustic hues to the cocktails and wine choices and finally, to the fabulous food, this should be a go-to spot for locals, not to mention those just passing through.

If you’re lucky enough to get a table, make sure to try the Spit Roasted Cauliflower – it’s insanely delicious! The Grilled Romaine Caesar is another delectable dish, and my choice of entrée The Pan Roasted Salmon served over a bed of wild rice, sunflower, breakfast radish and baby turnips, was out of this world!

An uber-cool vibe permeates this place and, as mentioned, the food is sublime – Honey would have approved :)
