My friend Cecil believes it’s just as important for men to take care of their skin as it is for women, and I would have to agree. You can’t have great style if you don’t have great skin. The good news is, he says, men can improve the quality of their skin dramatically, without a whole lot of fuss.
“It only takes a few minutes each day for men to cleanse and moisturize. The most important thing is to use the proper products. Don’t use the same product on your face as you do on your body.”
Cecil recommends a good facial scrub, followed by a serum and moisturizer for maximum results. His go-to products for day include Shea Moisture Face Wash and Scrub followed by Kiehl’s Line Reducing Concentrate Serum and their Face Fuel Moisturizer.
“For evening I use Dove Men’s Face Wash followed by Keihl’s Face Fuel Moisturizer.”
Cecil says men will see immediate results by simply implementing the right skin care products into their daily routine.
Here are a few other products he swears by:
Natura Bisse C+C Vitamin Body Cream
Shea Moisture African Black Soap Body Wash
Omorovicza Copper Peel for the face

Mary I am so glad you posted this. Cecil is so right on the money. Men have skin too and not a hide. Keep it clean boys and well hydrated. Great post!

I know many men who are frustrated with their skin but don’t know how to attack the issue and feel awkward seeking help. This is much needed advice. Cecil…You could have a successful weekly blog just helping men with hygiene, maintenance and style. (Sidebar…very nice picture.
