On your mark. Get set. Hold your horses—at least for another 12 days. That’s when when one of the most talked about collaborations to date launches at a Target near you. We’re talking of course, about New York-based designer Phillip Lim and his new collection for Target that is sure to wow even the couture-only crowd. The collection includes both women’s and men’s clothing and accessories.  A sneak peak reveals gorgeous dresses and separates priced from $20 to $75. {Love the tuxedo pants, above left!}

The collection also includes modern prints and unbelievable bags for under $60…

and his trademark leather jackets that can be had for $250 to $300 {a far cry from the nearly $2000 you’ll pay for a leather jacket from Lim’s singular 3.1 line}.

Did I mention navy? Yes, navy is a standout color in this sure-to-be coveted collection. The only question now is whether you’ll be able to get your hands on any of it once the doors open at Target on September 15. My guess is that this will be one shopping expedition that will not be for the faint of heart. Good luck to those with the courage and stamina to take on the mega-crowds and may the best fastest shoppers win!

Are you planning on braving the crowds?
