I had a chance to see the most amazing exhibit yesterday at the Chicago Botanic Garden. The Butterflies and Blooms exhibition is going on now through Labor Day and it is spectacular! Some 500 butterfly species from around the world are flitting about inside a white tent, where a man-made habitat has been created for them.
Something very cool about the fact that these colorful creatures represent so many parts of the globe—North America, South America, Asia, and Africa—all peacefully co-existing in this diminutive magic garden.
If you haven’t been and you’re in the area, this exhibition is definitely worth checking out. It will not disappoint.
