There is nothing quite as versatile as a classic, throw-it-on-and-go cardigan, am I right? Whether your style sensibility is serenely laid-back or on the dressy side, this is a sweater that is more than capable of working a double shift. I personally have been living in J.Crew’s long striped version and I have to admit, even I’m surprised at how often I’m reaching for it. It’s definitely a closet favorite right now, so much so that I’ve been thinking about adding a few more styles to my day-to-day rotation. Loving this dressed-up cardigan in a sophisticated kimono-style with a fun side-tie closure (sale alert!)  this pretty dip-dye number in super-soft cashmere, this fabulous long and lean standout with a gorgeous drape and because you can never have too much pink in your closet, this beauty is definitely on my hit list. I should mention I also LOVE a great cropped cardigan, given my short torso, and am currently eyeing this cardigan, and this one . Decisions, decisions ;) No question about it, this is a wardrobe workhorse that is worth investing in.
