It’s one of my favorite color combinations – bordeaux and blue.  Most people wouldn’t think of pairing the two colors together, and yet, it works. Really works. A bright pop of sky blue just adds something special to rich, warm bordeaux hues. Don’t get me wrong, a strictly monochromatic pairing, featuring all bordeaux would be very chic, but it was fun shaking things up a bit with something unexpected, at least from me. My cropped, cable-knit sweater – an old favorite – works perfectly with my short torso and means there’s much less fabric for me to have to tuck into my Marc Jacobs high-waisted cords. Love how the  blue of the sweater compliments the bordeaux pants. Definitely one of my favorite pairings.
