Maybe because I spend so much time in South Florida or maybe just because, I love not playing by old style rules, especially when it comes to wearing white. This clean, crisp hue is one I like wearing all year round, as long as it doesn’t scream summer when it’s almost winter. Winterizing white is as easy as making a few subtle, stylistic tweaks that involve the addition of texture, weight and a grounding color that is rich and warm like brown or black.  These AG wide-leg cropped jeans with raw hems look perfectly fitting on this November day paired with a Vince cashmere sweater and strappy Sam Edeleman suede pumps.

In addition to using black as my contrasting color, I’ve added more weight to the look with my oversized sweater and introduced three textures into the mix – cashmere, suede and calf-hair – for an overall of-the-season take on white.
