Good morning, everyone! Hope your week is going well. Mine had been going great until yesterday. Long story short, I had to have a tooth pulled and let’s just say in the hours leading up to the procedure I might have been freaking out just a little bit. No surprise after such an unnerving experience (literally) that I would gravitate back to black – always my comfort color – and a dramatic coat dress that has a slightly gothic vibe. (With all the high-drama, it just seemed so right!) This is another unique find that I picked up at a local boutique. The belted, zip front, A-line silhouette has a sexy slit that will play well after dark (not so much in the dentist’s chair :)) Black suede caged sandals and a vintage broach lighten the look while adding a nice twist. (Twist?! Maybe not the best choice of words after having had a tooth pulled!) xox-M

Beautiful! Love the coat dress!
Sorry about the tooth!
You look fabulous!
You look beautiful in black and those heels are just amazing. Oh, that does not sound like fun! I had to have 4 teeth pulled at one time before I had braces (this was a very long time ago) and I still remember it!

Such stunning photos and you look beautiful in that outfit! I just realised I never wear completely black outfits (I think it’s because I have a thing about fluff!) but it looks so elegant. Hope you’ve recovered from the tooth being taken out! #fashionfriday

So sorry to hear about your tooth issue, certainly not something that is pleasant. But, your black coat dress is so beautiful, it looks so cozy, almost like you are wrapped in a wonderful blanket. And, adding the brooch is such an unexpected surprise. Last but certainly not least, those fabulous cage black sandals!!
