Comfort zones are meant to be challenged. It’s the only way we grow. Pushing ourselves beyond what we think we’re capable of can reap rich rewards, save for the angst, anxiety and exhaustion required to step outside the confines of our comfort. This is where I find myself today – preparing for a major move, looking for housing in a new city, and basically taking a huge leap of faith into an unknown future.
It’s nice to know that with all that growth some things never change – like the feeling I get when I step into a brand new pair of Jimmy Choos. Happiness, delight, enjoyment of a guilty pleasure – that’s what these artfully designed classics evoke in me – and for a little while I’m back in my comfort zone, just long enough to catch my breath.

Love the classic clean look….
Merci, JL!
So cute! Great outfit – you are so chic!
I find myself in a similar place with lots of big changes in the near future. Don’t be overwhelmed – try to ride on the excitement of it all, and of course keep the faith and believe along the way!
Thanks, Kate. You are so right! Faith is the key – don’t know what I’d do without my faith. It’s the wind beneath my wings, for sure!
I absolutely love this look! You look amazing , beautiful shoes:)
Hugs Beata
Thanks so much, Beata! These could be my new favorite sandals and the best part is they’re comfortable :)
I agree with pushing past comfort zones. Although what you are speaking of, moving to a new area with other challenges, I find myself thinking about getting back into jazz voice. In college, I studies Music, and took Jazz Voice, now I am looking for a coach. It would be out of my comfort zone as I am a bit inhibited about my voice.
Now to your shoes, they are gorgeous! I love the whole look Mary! Very stylish. You look great in black and peplum,

Good for you, Jess! How cool that you took Jazz Voice in college and that you’re pursuing it again. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you find a great vocal coach. xox~M

I love this minimalistic ensemble. Very chic Mary. And I adore the Choos :)
I’m going to work hard to incorporate a little more color into my style posts this summer, but I am truly a minimalist at heart with a little twist courtesy of Jimmy Choo thrown in for good measure ;)
Mary, you look stunning! So classy and elegant, and the backdrop of your photos is simply splendid! You are beautiful! ;)
