Hard to believe that we’re wrapping up this first month of 2014, but so far I’m loving everything about this new year. (Well, almost everything. Enough already with this winter!).

Whether you follow me regularly or are just stopping by for the first time, I thought I’d give you a quick recap of what went on around here in January. Aside from kicking off the month with a birthday—my own(video proof here)—and introducing you to my new standing desk, the thing that I’m most excited about is a new feature I launched called, “The Essence Of…” 

Though it’s similar to my street style feature, “On The Street With…” this new series has far less to do with capturing a style sensibility than it does with capturing the essence of another’s soul. Look for intimate photography coupled with some wise words, along with a little fun thrown in for good measure.

I also told you about my new “Home Tour” series I’ll be launching this spring. The first incredible home I’ll be sharing with you is otherworldly, so stay tuned for that and many more new features that will be coming in the days and months ahead.
