In case you haven’t noticed, menswear fabrics are everywhere this season.
The classic fabrics synonymous with Savile Row suiting—houndstooth, herringbone, glen plaid, and tweed—have been reinvented yet again, tailored this Fall with a decidedly feminine twist. Forget about those boxy 80s suits—the new silhouettes have definitely been cut from a different cloth. Think sexy and statement making.
This is just a small sampling of some of the looks I’m loving right now.
Reinterpreting menswear fabrics for women is not a new trend. What makes it fresh right now is the number of new and unique silhouettes available, giving this classic fabric a modern sensibility that is hard to resist. I’ll definitely be adding some to my wardrobe this season.
What about you?

A great look that is timeless.. A trend that’s here to stay.
Beautiful examples of the fabric trend! Love when these patterns are used in upholstery too :-)
