Well, friends, it is truly hard to believe that my daughter’s wedding day has come and gone. This adrenaline-filled year of parties and planning culminated last weekend in a grand celebration that began on Friday with an incredible rehearsal dinner at Fig & Olive followed by a Welcome Toast gathering at the Kerryman that went late into the night for some :). The Saturday wedding mass at St. James Chapel, felt like we had all momentarily landed in heaven, replete with a choir of angels singing from a loft above the congregation, their glorious voices lifting us all up to another level. Magical is the word I heard over and over again following the ceremony and, it truly was. And then there was the otherworldly evening reception at the Drake Hotel, where everything was simply exquisite. Here I am one week later (cannot believe it’s already been a week!) finding it hard to put into words how I’m feeling right now. The entire weekend feels like a dream. Bringing our creative vision to life took a village and gave me the opportunity to meet and work with some incredible people. While I was vetoed early on from sharing details about the wedding, the ban has finally been lifted and I look forward to sharing all with you over the coming months. From how to plan an engagement party that’s memorable, to finding the best paper source and photographer, to makeup artistry, hair stylists, venue tips, finding a florist, and of course everything that went into finding Katherine’s dream dress (not to mention mine ;) ). I look forward to sharing all in the coming weeks! In the meantime, though, thank you so much for stopping by! Make it a great day! xoxM
