Good morning! Let’s everyone shout it from the rooftops, TGIF!!!
What a week!
It started off with what I thought was a minor running injury but I realized pretty quickly (since I couldn’t walk without pain) that it was probably not so minor. Already out of town on a planned getaway, we had to turn around and come home. No fun. I’ve been sitting with my feet up for three days now which is no easy task for someone who hates to sit still. It’s been nothing but ice packs, tumeric for pain and lots of Netflix binge-watching. ( Speaking of, I have a long list of Netflix recommendations for you coming to the blog soon.)
In the meantime, I have some other recommendations for you that involve some of the sweetest little summer dresses anywhere, including the gingham number I’m wearing today. Enjoy!

It’s hard to sit and do nothing—but sometimes it is what your body needs!!
Besides–it leaves lots of time to read blogs, ha ha!

Ha! This is true, Jodie! I’m thinking the universe is definitely trying to tell me something, probably to cool all the travel and finally bloom where I’m currently planted :)
Oh, so sorry to hear about your injury. I’m looking forward to hearing what you’ve been watching on Netflix though! I have one episode left to watch of ‘House of Cards” then I’m moving on to “Orange is The New Black”. LOVE this dress! So pretty!
