Earlier in the week I shared my take on boho chic, a huge trend this fall and winter (you can check out the full post here). Because the over-sized cable-knit jacket I was wearing mostly obscured the skirt and vest underneath it, I wanted to give you a closer look at those pieces today. Right on point with the boho trend is my floaty, floral peasant skirt and chocolate brown velvet vest, though both have been in my closet for several seasons. Pairing the skirt and vest with a rich cognac knit jacket and suede booties makes the look feel current, but in a toned down, elegant way. While head to toe folklorica works for some it doesn’t fit my style aesthetic, but taking the less is more approach to this trend feels just right.
