Guess what I discovered recently? You can’t do it all :)
Hence my spotty posting of late.
As I prepare to say goodbye to my current home I wanted to share some of my favorite images with you.
The photo above is a view of my backyard – not only beautiful, but peaceful and serene.
I’ll definitely be looking to replicate this scene in some way at our next stop.

Oh my! How could you leave! The next stop must be pretty special! Can’t wait to hear and see more!
Thanks, Robin! Thankfully I’m not too far from Chicago (though going back and forth is getting exhausting). Looking forward to sharing the journey!
Have a great 4th!
Oh Mary, your backyard is gorgeous, can you help me out in NC? We get such hot spells that it is hard to keep certain plants alive. So, you look fab and so does your yard. Best wishes in your search

Thanks Jess! Have missed visiting your beautiful blog and can’t wait to get back to business next week (or at least try ;) )
Enjoy the holiday weekend! xox~M
Mary your yard and your house are as beautiful as you are. I am so sad you are leaving but am happy for you. Holding onto technology and not that far away to keep me from tears. I can hardly wait to see your new home. I know it will be as fabulous as your current one and previous ones. And, as far as you cannot do it all, you are the 1 person I know that can do it all!xoxxo and then some more xoxxo
Oh, Michele, you are too kind! You know I love a project so I’m excited about our next stop and what I’ll be able to create there ;)
And yes, you are so right – with all the tech-toys we now have it will be easy to stay in touch.
Have a wonderful 4th and talk with you soon! xox~M
OMG what a gorgeous home……how come you’re leaving it already?? I’m sure it’s also full of memories as wonderful as you!!!!

Thanks so much, Rebecca! We’re relocating for my husband’s work but thankfully I’ll not be too far from Chicago. While I’ll certainly miss my home (lived there for 9 years) I’m looking forward to making new memories and excited about all the possibilities!
Have a wonderful 4th! xx~M
