What’s all the rushing for anyway? You will not find the true meaning of Christmas on sale at your local department store. When a store employee in New York gets trampled to death by a frenzied mob of shoppers hoping to get a deal on a bunch of “stuff” I know there’s something way wrong in the world. What a tragedy for this employee and his family, and what a wake-up call it should be for those people who were part of the stampede that reportedly ripped the doors off the hinges to get inside.
I will most definitely be walking this season, enjoying family and friends, and embracing the adage that it is in the simple things that we find the deepest meaning. Happy December! xox~M

Love the message… We all need to be reminded to slow down…
We miss so much when we’re rushing around like fools, don’t we?
Great post and image! I just found out that today is also “Giving Tuesday” — what a perfect message for the day!
gorgeous times 3! I’m so turned off with all of the commercialism with the holidays that I love to be out of the country during this time. This year Cambodia! Enjoy!
