There’s no avoiding this fact – a can’t-do-without closet staple has morphed into something more…much more. The ubiquitous white blouse has for better or worse become a major power player as far as modern dressing goes. But far from mainstream today’s statement-making styles go way beyond basic. Voluminous, bell shaped, puffy or tied at the wrist sleeves, today’s fresh take on the little white blouse has made this newest derivation a wardrobe must-have. Yes, you can still find classics, like this, this, and this, that will serve you well, but who of us doesn’t want to have a little fun with a sculpturally designed beauty like the one I’m wearing today. My Caroline Constas blouse (on major sale!), befitting of a party or date night, is loaded with dramatic appeal and will look equally fabulous with both jeans and dressier cropped trousers. Whether, cotton, silk or something in between it’s no secret I have fully embraced this trend and will continue to enjoy it until we collectively decide that our billowing, flowing sleeves have been stained one too many times while dining on our favorite spaghetti bolognese :)

Have you jumped on this trend yet or stayed true to the basic version?
